GRANNYSAGE AT THE CROSSROADS

Welcome to the Crone's Hut

The Crone is a wise woman who has chosen to live in a small cottage in the woods, rather than in the hustle and bustle of the Hollow. But she welcomes visitors and is willing to share her knowledge if you are a true seeker.

In the Crone's Hut you will learn about things wonderful and witchy, about goddess spirituality and magick, and maybe learn a little bit about yourself as well.

"Like the word wild, the word witch has come to be understood as a pejorative, but long ago it was an appellation given to both old and young women healers, the word witch deriving from the word wit, meaning wise. This was before cultures carrying the one-God-only religious image began to overwhelm the older pantheistic cultures which understood the Deity through multiple religious images of the universe and all its phenomena."

My fairy friend invites you to step inside the hut for a spell.

No, I am not going to put a spell on you.
Doorway to Cottage

Update May 15, 2019

As you follow the pathways you will see that for 20 years I was a proud pagan, a follower of an earth-based spirituality. Recently I began to feel that spiritual model no longer fit my inner being. I have started to study more closely the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, more and more finding myself in the Present Moment and focusing on awakening my own consciousness. Daily I feel an increase in inner peace. This is a work in progress.

I am still keeping my articles on Wicca in the Crone's Hut as there are people that are on that path and like to read them.
