I started developing Crossroads almost two years ago, when I was feeling frustrated with how another writing platform was treating its content writers. Sadly, I have mostly neglected it, jumping in now and then to add to the scenario, but not really wanting to put too much time in it.
Then in December 2014, the aforementioned writing platform sold out to another similar site, one where your writing is tagged as having duplicate content or low quality content and then you have to guess what it is you are supposed to fix. I decided not to have my articles transferred there. I saved everything to my computer and have just started the lengthy task of transferring them to this website.
Rather than a boring blog or webpage, I decided to let loose the creative fairies and create a fantasy world. It is called the Crossroads, and consists of three roads that will take you to different experiences. Some are serious articles, some are just for fun, and some are product recommendations. One never knows what he/she will find wandering down a path. Navigation is simple. Just go to the top of the page to find the menu.
I am using this blog as a place to interact with the author (that's me!). You can leave a comment about anything you find. If you particularly like something, let me know. I also plan to posts explaining the history behind certain articles.
So here we go! I'm looking forward to some good conversation. I'll meet you at the Sage Blossom Inn and share a bit of mead while we chat.
I am a storyteller. I like to wrap inspirational messages inside little vignettes of my life or the lives of others. I grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, have lived in an RV, and am now living in a senior apartment. Everything I've experienced in my 67 years in this incarnation is fair game to be written about.
