She found beauty everywhere she looked, whether it was a colorful flower or a lone tree on a Kansas prairie. Somehow things she observed made their way into one of her enameled pieces.
I was lucky to have my mother to teach me the basics of enameling, although I didn't have the passion or patience for it that she did. It also allowed us precious time together and gave me unique memories of turning our ideas into artwork.
